Young Nigerians in the diaspora are important political stakeholders whose support is crucial to securing electoral victory. In addition to being aspirational figures with notable influence and following in the country\u2019s media landscape, particularly with the interconnectedness enabled by technology, a sizable number of them also possess the economic heft that makes them a powerful and highly resourceful support base, as well as breadwinners in local communities with the influence to sway voting decisions.<\/span><\/p>

Although geographically removed from the country, young Nigerians in the diaspora are keen and enthusiastic followers of developments at home, particularly in the political scene as they remain committed to the idea of a \u2018New Nigeria\u2019 with advancements and growths similar to what is witnessed and experienced in their migrant countries.<\/span><\/p>

Securing their political support, already established as critical to success, will require making a convincing case for the party\u2019s vision for the future and its alignment with their political aspirations. This is all the more so given the level of negative reporting and complications caused as a result of the pandemic-induced global economic downturn that threaten to obscure the party\u2019s achievements and earnest efforts to reposition the country.<\/span><\/p>

The APC National Youth Wing recognizes this need and plans a strategic engagement of this important political community, focused on highlighting the special importance of their contributions to the country\u2019s democracy and future and the need to join efforts in the bid to secure the successful emergence of H.E. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the country\u2019s next President.<\/span><\/p>

This engagement, taking place first as a Town Hall Meeting in London, United Kingdom, on the 30<\/span>th<\/span> of July, will feature sessions on the aforementioned themes and a networking opportunity that will provide access to leadership of the Youth Wing and facilitate exchanges beneficial to the goal of growing and strengthening the party\u2019s support among young Nigerians in the diaspora.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
