The Progressive Youth Award is the foremost youth award of the All Progressives Congress, Nigeria’s ruling party and Africa’s largest political organization, which rewards and celebrates outstanding young people and leaders whose contributions and actions have best promoted the party’s values of youth excellence and innovation, and have advanced the cause of meaningful empowerment and equitable representation of young people.

The Progressive Youth Award is an initiative of the Hon. Dayo Israel-led Progressive Youth Wing. It was designed to promote excellence and motivate continuous commitment to progressive ideals and values such as youth innovation and excellence, civic responsibility, inclusion and accomplishment, as well as equity and the defence of rights – in line with the raison d’etre of our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).
